OpenID, the open way of authentication yourself is gaining more and more popularity. Two sites I use often, sourceforge.net and slicehost.com are now OpenID enabled!

OSCON, the anual Open Source Convention is something I have yet to visit. I can only imagine how great it would be to attend a convention dedicated to the wonder that Open Source is.
